The development of high selective sorptive ceramic materials for water basin protection from heavy metal natural radionuclide contamination

Actual high-selective porous ceramics and glass-crystalline materials with specified characteristics, structure and high operating abilities (advanced porous structure, high sorptive properties and selectivity, increased thermo- and acid- resistance, mechanical durability and others) for aquifer protection from heavy metals and natural radionuclides contamination were developed. Basic synthesis principles of these materials based on layered silicates dispersions, also regulation principles of their characteristics related to synthesis conditions and surface modification were specified. Application recommendations for ecological problems solving linked to aquifer contamination with hazardous toxicants were proposed. Last ones have tendency to be present in nuclear industry, metallurgy and other branches of industry.
