Research of biosorbents with natural ferrimagnetic properties for water purification

The aim of the project is to substantiate and develop theoretical and experimental scientific principles of technology of natural and artificial magnetic labeling of microorganisms and fungi from BMN for water purification. As a result of the research, potential producers of BMN were identified among microorganisms from BMN (bacteria, microalgae) and fungi used for water purification. Systematized microorganisms from BMN (bacteria, microalgae) and fungi, in the presence or absence of crystal structure and localization of BMN formations.

Mechanisms of intensification of sorption process of heavy metal ions by the magnetically controlled biosorbents for the purification of the waste water

New mechanisms for the intensification of the process of heavy metal ions sorption by magnetically modified biosorbent, based on yeast S. cerevisiae for wastewater treatment, were revealed. New equipment for magnetohydrodynamic mixing (MHDM) of biosorbent with magnetic fluid in the combined electric and magnetically fields were developed for the first time. This installation allowed obtaining the magnetically operated biosorbent with stable magnetic properties and sorption capacity of not less than native yeast.

Investigation of ions of heavy metal extraction from waste waters mechanisms by magnetocontrolled biosorption

Theoretical models which feature mechanisms of extraction of ions of heavy metals are offered and developed. New low-cost methods of manufacturing stable magnetosensitive complexes barm/magnetic nanoparticles with the refined properties are developed. Essentially new knowledge and the facts concerning mechanisms of extraction of ions of heavy metals from fluids by means of magnetocontrolled biosorption which allow to optimize considerably production engineering of purification of sewage from ions of heavy metals in a velocity regime are gained.....
