Technological foundations of reducing the number of stages in the forming operations of drawing, reducing and bulging

Developed new technological foundations of obtaining the hollow articles by forming cold sheet stamping processes, including drawing, reducing and bulging. The novelty lies in the development of new methods of drawing, reducing and bulging, to create and use a special profiles deforming tool. Using this deforming tool provides a significant reduction of friction influence in the forming of articles, reduce deformation force and increase the degree of deformation in one stage.

The development of energy-efficient designs direct heating the Castner furnace for graphitization electrode products

Energy-saving constructions and regulations of the Castner furnaces operation were developed for graphitization of large-sized electrode workbenches, which have no other analogue in Ukraine and reach energy expenses decrease by 20–25 %. Thermal and electrical furnace state was experimentally investigated during graphitization of electrode workbenches with different expansion blocks. It was found out that gasification process of carbon material by water vapor occurs in operation area during graphitization process in the Castner furnace.

There were created new computational methods of objective assessment of the spatial and energy resolution of space-based infrared cameras on the basis of physical and mathematical model of electro-optical system for forming and converting signals from terrestrial objects and backgrounds to the final information package of thermal imaging system.

Creation of theoretical bases of resource saving technologies of isothermal forming of thin-walled elements of mechanical engineering in wide temperature range and velocity deformation

Based on generalized theoretical results of visco-plastic flow of metal in different aggregate (solid and liquid-solid) states under a wide range of temperatures and strain rates the relationship of the isothermal load parameters, structure and physic-mechanical properties of the material extruded from thin-walled workpieces elements that have a high degree of approximation of their shape to the shape of the details (accuracy) was obtained. A general theory and generalized approach for the calculation process of forming structurally heterogeneous bodies was created.

Was developed a new concept of composing and development of large-scale information management systems and open public media, a number of mathematical models and methods of analysis, design, implementation and operation of control systems of cloud IT infrastructure that automates critical cloud computing processes that allow you to create technology-aided design and management of cloud IT infrastructure.

Investigation of the dynamic properties of the newest semicoductor nanomaterials and nanocomponents

This work is devoted to research of nanomaterials and nanostructures for creation of super-high speed and THz micro- and nanoelectronics components. Using of III-nitride wide gap materials opens new possibilities for creation on their basis low-dimensional semiconductor structures, which combine possibilities to get more fast-acting and more powerful electronic devices in comparison with existent A3B5 devices.

Mathematical models and methods creation for hierarchical planning and decision making in production systems with limited resources

The overall fundamental problem to be solved by the project is the development of mathematical models and methods of hierarchical planning and decision making in a complex organizational and production systems with network representation of technological processes and limited resources.
