Complex physical and chemical inhibition of corrosion processes and increase the efficiency of heat transfer in the aquatic environment to save energy resources of Ukraine

In order to improve the energy efficiency of heat transfer processes, the processes of scale formation and corrosion on heat transfer surfaces were investigated. An experimental setup and method of deposition of scale in operating conditions, hot water and steam boilers at a temperature of 95 ± 2 ° C, which differ from the known fact, that allow you to monitor and adjust the rate of scale formation, using a constant supply of fresh water to maintain a constant composition of the aquatic environment.

Scientific foundations of corrosion of micro- and nanostructured materials in electrochemical systems, sensors and supercapacitors

The scientific foundations of corrosion micro- and nano-structured materials in electrochemical systems, sensors and supercapacitors, which are based on the new classification of corrosive processes. Scientific novelty create a foundation is in the experimental and theoretical justification identifying the crucial role of corrosion processes on the kinetics of electrode processes under extreme operating conditions these systems.

Corrosion protection of steel in condition of the operation of new energy-saving generators - contact water heaters

The electrochemical behavior of steel in a model of contact water heating was investigated. It was shown that the increase in temperature, carbon dioxide concentration, the application of stirring lead to an increase in corrosion rate, which is not inhibited in time unlike corrosion in the water with natural CO2 content. The dependence of pH on the concentration of CO2 was established, which is the main corrosion factor.
