Development and manufacture of a mass-exchange centrifugal distiller for the recovery of drinking water in extreme conditions

The purpose of the work is an experimental study of the real operating conditions of the processes of evaporation and condensation of steam-air mixtures in the field of action of centrifugal forces at atmospheric pressure, on a rotating sieve nozzle, determination of the hydrodynamic features of the operation of the rotating nozzle.

Development of a distiller design to meet high requirements for the concentration of thermolabile substances of various initial composition.

Hydrodynamic processes in a centrifugal apparatus with a sieve nozzle were investigated. Optimal operating parameters were determined from the point of view of minimal energy consumption.

For the first time, the process of evaporation from a solution in an air stream on a rotating sieve nozzle was experimentally investigated. Empirical formulas for engineering calculations were obtained.

For the first time, the features of the condensation process from a steam-air stream were experimentally investigated, and the quality of the obtained distillate was analyzed. Empirical formulas for engineering calculations were obtained.

The calculation method of a centrifugal heat and mass exchanger with a mesh nozzle is new.
