An approach to assessing the available resources of territories and human potential in the new conditions of existence of a constant military threat has been developed.

Methods and models for assessing barrier characteristics of territories, finding priority locations for population placement, means of production, construction of new infrastructure facilities, and formation of defense structures have been developed.

The work is aimed on the improvement and testing of the subsystems of the university nanosatellite (NS) of Cubesat format through the development, modeling and research of service subsystems to ensure the payload - an optical-electronic scanner with the ability to image the Earth's surface in the visible light range with the resolution of 15m to 30m when operating in orbit with an altitude from 400 km to 700 km, by the efforts of students, master's students, post-graduate students and research staff of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute.

An information system for monitoring changes in the land cover of the territories based on satellite data was created. The system is integrated into the Information and Analytical Situation Center of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

A complex of methods and models has been developed, based on which the degree of transformation of land cover types is evaluated, critical changes are identified, and their classification by type of transformation is carried out. Methods used to identify transformations:

The ideology of spatially distributed biotelemetric system of collection, processing and storage of biomedical information using the concept of Internet of Things (IoT) is developed. The system consists of personal measuring devices for registration of a set of basic vital biosignals parameters (electrocardiography (ECG), electroencephalography (EEG) photoplethysmography (PPG), impedance), multichannel central server system.
